A restored townhouse facing the Old Bridge of Chalkida — Cycladic-meets-mainland geometry, suites with views of the famous strait, the working harbour, and the silhouette of mainland Boeotia beyond.

Chalkida is the capital of Evia and the only city in Greece where the sea changes its mind. The Euripus strait reverses direction every six hours, a phenomenon that has fascinated travellers since Aristotle.

The House sits a few steps from the Old Bridge, where locals still gather to watch the tide turn. Inside, suites are quiet, ink-and-stone affairs — designed for travellers who want a base within an hour of Athens but a world away from it. Reservations open in late 2026.
