Sustainability for us is not a label — it is the only way the collection can keep being itself. Local materials, local staff, local food, low-impact restoration. Below, the principles in detail.
Solar at Sarti and the planned Iraklitsa house. Spring-water bathrooms at the Pelion-school properties. Greywater recycling for gardens. Nothing extreme — just the obvious choices, taken seriously.
Breakfasts and tasting menus are sourced within a 50 km radius of each property where the season allows. Olive oil from the grove a kilometre uphill. Honey from the village beekeeper. Fish from the harbour, that morning.
We don't run a closed compound model. Guests are sent to the village taverna, not the in-house restaurant. Bookings keep cash circulating in the place that grew the house. We invest each year in local infrastructure (signage, beach clean-ups, harbour maintenance contributions).
Twelve suites, eight, six, five. Quiet luxury is structurally lower-impact than scale luxury. There is a ceiling on the collection: no more than thirty suites in any one destination. We grow by adding houses, not by expanding them.
