A Cycladic fishing village turned harbour town, kept alive by the sea and the late-evening crowd. Alkistis Exclusive sits a few quiet alleys back from the Venetian port — close enough to walk, far enough to sleep.

Naousa's old fishing harbour is the village's centre of gravity. Painted boats moored by the broken Venetian fortress; tavernas with tables that creep onto the quay; the catch laid out on ice every morning at the fishing co-op.
The walk to the port from Alkistis takes five minutes. Don't book dinner before 21:00 — the harbour comes alive late.
Where to find the right sand.
Naousa is the launching point for the best northern beaches. All within 10–25 minutes by car or local bus.
- KolymbithresThe famous granite-rock formations and shallow turquoise pools. Crowded in August — go early or late.
- MonastiriCinematic cove inside the Paros Park nature reserve. Day-bed rentals; restaurant on site.
- Santa MariaLong sandy strand on the northeast coast. Best for swimming; meltemi-shielded.
- LaggeriUntamed dunes, no facilities, naturalist-friendly. 20-min drive + 10-min walk.

The harbour is densely tavernaed. Past the obvious picks, two or three quieter spots reward the walk.

- Sigi IkthiosGround-floor of an old captain's house. Fish-led, narrow but excellent.
- GlafkosGenerations old; family-run; the only place locals send out-of-towners.

Paros is on the rise as a Cycladic wine destination — small vineyards, tough-vine varieties (Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Aidani), and tasting rooms tucked into the hills.
