Greek wine, like Greek olive oil, has spent the last decade catching up to its quality. Three of the four destinations in the collection sit on, or next to, vineyards worth a half-day. The concierge arranges the visits.

Halkidiki, around Sarti, is the home of Tsantali, Porto Carras, and a clutch of small estates restoring indigenous varieties (Limnio, Roditis). Half-day tastings drive 45 minutes; the better estates do small-group sit-down lunches at the cellar.

Paros, around Naousa, has been on the rise as a Cycladic wine destination — small vineyards, tough-vine varieties (Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Aidani), and tasting rooms tucked into the hills. Moraitis is the classic; Asteras Paros is the biodynamic newcomer worth the reservation.

Evia, around Chalkida, holds an unsung wine tradition — Savatiano, Roditis, the old vines of central Greece. When the Chalkida house opens we will be sending guests on a route through three or four estates over a relaxed afternoon.

All vineyard visits are arranged with English-speaking hosts (or Greek if you prefer). We avoid the corporate-tour estates — small-batch only, owner-led where possible.
